Two days after the CBSE announced its class 12 result, Delhi University has announced dates for Open Days.
Open Days are conducted by student volunteers in which teachers and aspirants are invited to ask any questions they might have about courses or colleges. The process will be on from May 28 at the Conference Centre, North Campus. Unlike last year, this year open days will be held only at north and south campus.
At South Campus, the open days will be held at the SP Jain Centre. The Vice-Chancellor is expected to be present on the third open day, to be held on May 30 at the South Campus. In all, there will be 12 open days.
This year, the office of the Dean, students' welfare has also decided to start e-Open Days for the benefit of those who are not from Delhi. The administration has decided to shoot videos where student volunteers will give out information about courses and colleges. These videos will then be uploaded on the university website — du.ac.in — and can be accessed 24x7.
"All information related to students will be available on the uploaded videos. Any changes in the admission process will also be highlighted. Any student with internet access can get this even if he is hundreds of kilometres away," said JM Khurana, dean students' welfare.
