Rhino, a club located at South Point Mall in Gurgaon, is a delight for those who like to experiment with their drinks and music.
Situated on the third floor, its setting is minimalist — with abundant use of copper and wood and the glass windows give you an overview of the millennium city. The club is spacious with almost 150 covers inside and 100 in the open-air terrace for smokers and private parties along with a special built-in stage. Club Rhino has a unique musical theme every day of the week with a live performance lined up every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9pm to midnight. The bar plays host to a bevy of interesting drinks such as Rhino Blast — a concoction of vodka with Kahlua and Baileys ravioli (Rs 355), Grey Goose Watermelon Bliss (Rs 425), Dam U Fig (Rs 375), a mojito made with figs soaked in rum for 48 hours. Tequila drinkers can go for a shot of Swinging Single with Sambuca and cranberry for Rs 355. There is also a choice between Hoegaarden and Stella tap beer (Rs 325-350).
The restaurant offers an eclectic variety of food with the executive chef Prem Nath experimenting with different cuisines. The oven roasted Duck Salad accompanied by pears poached in red wine (Rs 350) melts in your mouth. Vegetarians could bite into crisp Pecan Stuffed Mushrooms or the Vegetables Rissole served with tamarind chutney (Rs 225). Their Baked Snapper Fillet (Rs 725) is a hit with fish lovers. A meal for two with drinks would cost Rs 1,800 plus taxes. Though scrumptious, they could do better with the portion size.
