Jennifer Lopez found some ghostly inspirations when it came to creating her new album, for the person behind her new songs is late Spanish singer Rocio Durcal.
Jennifer Lopez revealed that she was working on her new Spanish album Como Ama Una Mujer (How a Woman Loves) when hubby Marc Anthony received some song advice from Durcal’s ghost.
"Marc woke up and said, 'I just had the craziest dream,' I said, 'What was the dream?' And he said, 'Rocio Durcal was in this room. She was saying, "Come here, listen to this. This song is for Jennifer," and she was singing a melody,'" The Sun quoted her, as saying.
Lopez then grabbed her mobile telephone, and made Anthony sing the song into their answering machine, before letting him go back to sleep.
The 37-year-old star revealed that she is a huge fan of late Spanish singer, who had passed away two weeks previously.
"She was a very beautiful, famous singer who sang a million songs with Juan Gabriel and on her own. So of course, I'm like, 'That sounds good. Hold on one second,'" she said.
As for the song, JLo is extremely thrilled with the result.
"It's an incredibly intense song. It's passionate and a lot of fun, with a killer message. I love it, and I hope other people love it as much as I do, because then I'll be OK," she added.
