AN UNIDENTIFIED 20-year-old youth was found dead on the railway track in Nishatpura late on Thursday night. The police found a girl’s photograph in his palm and suspect that a love affair could be at the root of the suicide.
The body was found on the track near Bhanpura in the night after he apparently jumped in front of an approaching train. He was hit by the train and fell near the track and died on the spot.
The driver of a train who found the body lying beside the track informed the railway police. Subsequently, forensic experts reached the spot. The police found a girl’s photo held tightly by the youth in his palm. He died of head injury.
