The Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) on Saturday dismissed any possibility of Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) chief Subash Ghising's revival in the politics of Darjeeling hills.

The hill people were getting disillusioned with GJM and returning to the GNLF camp, Ghising had said yesterday saying the GJM was frustrated after the defeat of BJP in the Lok Sabha polls and it was impossible for GJM chief Bimal Gurung to achieve Gorkhaland by 2010 as he had promised.

BJP heavyweight Jaswant Singh won Darjeeling seat with the support of GJM.

Commenting on Ghising's remark, GJM general secretary told PTI: "Let him have his sweet dream. I don't understand how the press is giving importance to Ghising who had no guts to step into the hills."

Ghising came here yesterday to find a rented house for his accommodation-cum-office. He was staying in Jalpaiguri since March 06 where he came to appear before a court in connection with a case of murder attempt on his life.

On the Left Front's debacle in the general election, Ghising said ups and downs were a part of politics which he also suffered.
