Even four days after the police booked Goa Education minister Atanasio Monserrate's son Rohit, for raping a 14-year-old German girl, Rohit continues to elude the police.

On the other hand the Goa Police continue to claim that the minor victim still had not given her statement to the police.

Meanwhile, five more persons were arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting social activist Aires Rodrigues, also the counsel for the German woman who has alleged that a Goa minister's son raped her minor daughter.

“We arrested them from Mahableshwar (a hill station in Maharashtra) on Friday,” a senior police official said. Rodrigues was attacked on October 13.
