A Bangalore-bound GoAir flight was grounded at the Delhi airport on Sunday morning following a threat call that there was a bomb on the air craft, airport officials said.
A senior airport official said an unidentified person called up the airline's call centre at around 10.40 am saying that a bomb had been planted on the plane.
Following the call, the GoAir flight G8201 was grounded and passengers asked to disembark.
The bomb disposal squad was searching the aircraft, which has been parked in the bay at the Indira Gandhi International Airport domestic terminal, airport officials confirmed.
The police are yet to trace the caller. The airlines could not be reached.
