Property developer Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) on Sunday launched its largest township project spread over 250 acres within Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) limits.
Godrej Garden City (GGC) designed by globally renowned architects Skidmore, Owings and Merill (SOM) will house 13,000 apartments and will be completed in 10 years.
"This township project in Ahmedabad is the largest project in GPL’s portfolio and will be built in a phased manner in 10 years with investment of over R7,000 crore. On completion, the township will house 13,000 apartments and villas," Adi Godrej, chairman of Godrej Group said after the project was launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
"Around 2,000 units in phase I & II are also booked while phase III will be open for booking soon," Godrej said.
