Actress Goldie Hawn is all set to move behind the camera and direct the new comedy Ashes to Ashes, which will be shot in India.

The movie, which begins its pre-production in the fall, will star her husband Kurt Russel.

Goldie has also co-written the script, and even plans to co-star with Kurt in the movie, which will be produced by I, Robot producers Michel Shane and Anthony Romano.

Ashes to Ashes revolves around a woman who travels all the way through India to Kathmandu to bury her husband's ashes but misplaces them along the way.

According to sources, Ashes to Ashes has been a long-time passion and dream of the actress.

"Goldie and Kurt have the type of energetic chemistry that really elevates a film. Goldie has a brilliant vision for the film that translates into a hybrid love story with a comedic edge only she can provide," Variety quoted Shane, as saying.
