Roland Sangtam, an assistant engineer of the geology and mining department, was on his way to join as deputy manager of the Wazeho Cement Plant, when he was waylaid by a group of six or seven armed men on Tuesday.

Five bullets were pumped into his chest by the assailants in the presence of the driver of the vehicle and another occupant. He died on the spot.
