THE STATE government has filed an application before the high court seeking further time to comply with the order of the court dated December 11, 2006 in the case of Gayur Hasan.

HC DIRECTIVE ON GUNNERS

THE STATE government has filed an application before the high court seeking further time to comply with the order of the court dated December 11, 2006 in the case of Gayur Hasan.

By this order, the court had directed the concerned state authorities to withdraw forth the security gunners provided to all ineligible private persons such as students, student leaders, contractors and political activists.

By this order, the court had also directed to list this case on December 15, 2006 and had also directed the authorities concerned to file the compliance report on this date. This application will be taken up before the division bench comprising Justice Imtiyaz Murtaza and Justice Amar Saran.

In this application, the State has sought further time to comply with the order, as they required sometime to shortlist the persons whose security have been directed to be withdrawn by the above-mentioned order.
