National Panthers Party

National Panthers Party MLA and Chairman Harsh Dev Singh on Sunday lambasted the state government for “misgovernance, non-performance, lack of accountability and transparency, patronised corruption and fiscal indiscipline.”

He said the government had totally failed to deliver on the ground with the administrative machinery having been completely paralysed. He said that the govt. was making tall claims and loud announcements without any corresponding output having been recorded on the ground.

He was speaking at a public rally organised by the Panthers Party in Barnai village of Raipur Domona constituency.

Accusing the present dispensation of rampant corruption and red tape Singh observed that the coalition government was thriving on false promises and deceptive slogans. He said there was all round discontent and disenchantment among people of the state who had felt betrayed by the-anti people policies pursued by the present regime.

He said that the govt. had lost more than 2100 crore of plan funds due to its criminal negligence to perform and owed an explanation to the people of state for the lapse. He flayed the coalition partners for hatching a conspiracy to deprive the panchayats of their legitimate rights and powers as per 73rd constitutional amendment.

He further questioned the criminal silence maintained by the govt. over the issue of holding urban local bodies elections in the state that were being persistently postponed.
