Govt to construct 10,000 houses for poor

The Himachal Pradesh government would construct 10,000 houses in 2013-14 for poor people who have no dwellings of their own. For this, the government would provide subsidy to the tune of Rs 48,500 to Rs 75,000, chief parliamentary secretary (CPS) Inder Dutt Lakhanpal said while addressing a gathering at Mahre on Saturday. He listened to people's grievances and directed the authorities concerned to ensure that they were addressed in time.
