GONDWANA GANATANTRA Party MLA Manmohan Shah Batti has come out in support of the agitating gurujis. He has charged the State Government with betraying the gurujis.

In a press statement issued here, Batti has said that the government has failed to solve the problems of the 39,000 gurujis despite promising the same in the election manifesto. In this way, the government is playing with the future of lakhs of students.

The gurujis have been agitating under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Guruji Sangh to press for their demands including removal of disparity in salary structure, regularisation, appointment on compassionate grounds and others. The MLA has urged the government to solve the problems of the gurujis at earliest for the welfare of students.
