Suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a police post in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday. However, no one was hurt in the incident.
Suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a police post in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday. However, no one was hurt in the incident.
According to police, the militants tossed the grenade towards police post at Sherbagh in Anantnag town.

A police official said the grenade exploded in the lawn of the police post where vehicles seized by the police are parked.
“The explosion damaged some vehicles. However there was no loss of life or injury in the attack,” the official said.
The official added that the police immediately launched a search operation after the attack but could not find the attackers.
