Guess where Aamir's creativity comes from

india Updated: Oct 08, 2009 20:38 IST

Aamir KhanDid you know that perfectionist Aamir has been taking creative inputs from a friend? Surprised? Well, the actor doesn't hesitate to take the advice of his actor-writer-director friend Neeraj Vora, whenever he's in trouble.

They know each other from their Holi days, in which they worked together.

It started with Rangeela when Aamir called on Neeraj to be the dialogue writer of the film. He was not part of Ramu's original team. And the result was for all to see. Munna's tapori character looked authentic.

The actor-writer-director tells a daily, "I have done his first tapori Coca Cola when he said thanda matlab... and Tata Sky ads too where he dresses up as a man and woman. Whenever Aamir has needed my help, he has always called and hired my services professionally. He is also very talented at improvising language."

Even when he was not officially on Ghajini's board, Neeraj was there with Aamir on the sets helping him to improvise.

At present, Neeraj is working on a film for Aamir. "We have a script finalised but the screenplay needs some changes and I am working on that," says Neeraj.

Moral of the story? Behind every perfectionist, there is a 'friend'.
