Gujarat Assembly Speaker Ashok Bhatt on Friday revoked the suspension of 16 Congress MLAs.
Following the revocation, Congress members who had boycotted the House on Thursday, remained present for the discussion in the House.
The Congress MLAs had been suspended for the entire budget session for creating a ruckus during the inagural session of the House on February 17 when the Governor was making his speech.
The MLAs had shouted slogans and displayed placards in the House when the Governor began his speech.
A day after the din, Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Amit Shah had moved a motion to suspend the 16 MLAs which was approved by the speaker.
Following the suspension of their MLAs, Congress had boycotted Assembly proceedings yesterday and held a sit-in outside the speaker's office.
The speaker had, on Thursday evening, called a meeting of representatives of both parties and the issue was sorted out amicably.
The Congress MLAs are understood to have assured the speaker of their cooperation during the House proceedings.
