Tom Hanks stripped in front of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa during the filming of the movie The Da Vinci Code since he had nowhere else to undress.

According to contactmusic.com, Hanks had to make a costume change during a scene with French actress Audrey Tautou at the Louvre museum in Paris.

He says: "In the hall of the Mona Lisa we kept our technical equipment. And I went there to undress and get dressed again. I even changed my clothes in front of a statue of Apollo, which was about 5,000 years old.

"The Louvre began to be our world. We were working as always with cameras, spotlights, tracks, but in the middle of these treasures of humankind."
