Happy Raksha Bandan: Five most adorable sisters on reel

There is undoubtedly something unique about the bond between a brother and a sister! It's indeed one of the most cherished relationships. Our Bollywood too has tried to explore this bond. On Raksha Bandhan, we give you a list of some of the most adorable sisters every brother would love to have.

1.Ayesha Mehra: Ayesha Mehra played by actor Priyanka Chopra in 2015 release ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is a guide to his younger brother, Kabir Mehra (Ranveer Singh), who is always there to support him in times good or bad. Chopra truly showed how caring, older sisters are to their younger brothers.


2.Fiza: Fiza, a story of a sister’s firm resolve to find her younger brother who goes missing during the Bombay riots is something to remember. Fiza, played by Karisma Kapoor, who travels extensively throughout the country to look for her brother Aman,(Hrithik Roshan), who turns a militant. Kapoor tries to convince Aman that his association with a terror group won’t do any good to him but eventually kills him before the police can capture him. The 2000 release was highly appreciated by critics.

At the end a sister’s struggle is successful as she able to deliver justice to her sister. The movie is remembered for one of the most memorable performances by Kajol.


4. Anamika:
The life of this sister is about making sure that her brother, an HIV positive patient, is treated normally like any other person. Juhi Chawla plays older sister to Nikhil (Sanjay Suri) in the movie My Brother Nikhil (2005). She stands by him when the world is against him. 5. Khadija: The sports drama has a supportive, loving and caring sister Khadija (Shewta Prasad) to the hero, Iqbal, played by Sheryas Talpade. She arranges a coach, looks for a sports academy and helps him to communicate with the world as Iqbal plays a deaf and mute aspiring cricketer.
