Welcoming the high court decision, BJP MP Anurag Thakur termed it "the victory of the game of cricket".

"The cricket body is in no hurry to get back in until it gets a copy of the high court order," Anurag Thakur stated here on Tuesday. The HPCA is ready to host the Ranji trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir from November 14. "Preparations begin tomorrow after we have the stadium's possession," said an HPCA spokesman. The previous Ranji match against Goa was delayed by two sessions because of the government's taking over the ground, and the BCCI had planned to move the next contest.

The HPCA continues to face charges of cheating, misappropriation of money, and wrongdoings in land allotment and building international cricket stadium and five-star hotel The Pavilion at Dharamsala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
