Unhappy over not getting nomination from Yamunanagar for the upcoming assembly polls, BJP leader and former Haryana minister Kamla Sharma on Monday resigned from the party.

Unhappy over not getting nomination from here for the upcoming assembly polls, BJP leader and former Haryana minister Kamla Sharma on Monday resigned from the party.

Sharma told reporters here that despite being a legislator from here on three occasions earlier, she had been "ignored".

"I have forwarded my resignation to state BJP president Krishan Pal Gujjar," she said.
