Yuvraj Singh completely cold-shouldered the media when he kept the invited mediapersons waiting amidst rains and left without uttering a single word at the local DAV College cricket grounds in Chandigarh.

Mediapersons from leading national dailies and some electronic channels were left waiting for two hours in rains after being invited by those close to Yuvraj to have a small chat with the left-handed batsman from Chandigarh.

When a mediaperson tried to put a question, there was no response from Yuvraj, who had a forgettable Test series during the recent tour of the West Indies.

His father and former Test cricketer Yograj Singh was also present in the ground and was helping budding cricketers by giving some tips.

A photo journalist from a leading English daily also had an unsavoury experience when Yuvraj tried to dissuade him from clicking a picture.

As he left in his waiting vehicle after spending a few minutes inspecting the Gymnasium hall, the mediapersons were left surprised at his attitude.
