These elections crusader Anna Hazare is targetting the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Hazare will visit NCP MP and murder accused Padmasinh Patil’s hometown, Osmanabad, from where Patil’s son and sitting Member of Legislative Assembly, Rana Jagjitsinh, is contesting the October 13 polls. He will also travel to Mumbai to take on NCP’s Nawab Malik who is contesting from Anushakti Nagar.

Hazare will begin a fast-unto-death at Ralegaon Siddhi on October 2 to demand action against indicted politicians. “They (Congress, NCP) have given tickets to tainted politicians. My fight is against the corrupt politicians contesting elections,” Hazare said.

Hazare’s supporters will also travel across 300 talukas of Maharashtra with an audio message from him.

Hazare has decided to work for some “clean” candidates. He has extended support to Shiv Sena MP Adhalrao Patil whose wife Kalpana is contesting from Ambegaon in Pune against NCP’s Dilip Walse Patil.
