He?s Lallan: Top mimicker

LALLAN WHO? The same familiar small-screen movie jockey who stuns you with 50-plus get-ups and mimicking 25 cine-stars! He?s just not an entertainer, but a great mimicker! So, be on guard! ?Hello! I?m not really that but I know how give the feel of the star I act like,?says Sunil ?Lallan? Grover. The fact remains that he is enjoying the small screen after a brief stint on the big screen. ?Earlier, I was skeptical about being a movie jockey. You come as an interruption!

LALLAN WHO? The same familiar small-screen movie jockey who stuns you with 50-plus get-ups and mimicking 25 cine-stars!  He’s just not an entertainer, but a great mimicker! So, be on guard! “Hello! I’m not really that but I know how give the feel of the star I act like,”says Sunil ‘Lallan’ Grover.

The fact remains that he is enjoying the small screen after a brief stint on the big screen. “Earlier, I was skeptical about being a movie jockey. You come as an interruption! But, a positive response from the people changed it all for me,”  says Ganeshi Bhaiya, Big B, SRK, Sanjay Dutt and others—you watch him on Sahara One Network Creation’s FILMY.

Lallan is more famous than Sunil Grover. His ticket to Lucknow was booked under Lallan! “But for me it’s just a character. Sunil is different to him but I wish I could have been like him such is his innocence. But something I identify with is his determination, struggle, honesty and he is fan of all actor like me,” he says.

Drawn to acting since school days, Sunil used to act out household gossips live and entertain everyone. “We used to have fun copying teachers. Soon mimicking became my USP. People started recognizing me for that,” he says. He did small roles in Big B starrer Family, Legend of Bhagat Singh and Insaan. “Voice overs, ads and commercial films keep me busy. I enjoy doing what like most — entertaining people.” That’s well said.
