Hearing on the bail applications of a former Jammu and Kashmir minister and a hotel manager, arrested by CBI in connection with the sex racket, have been deferred by a lower court in Srinagar for four days.
Chief Judicial Magistrate MY Akhoon deferred hearing on the bail pleas of former minister Raman Matoo and hotel manager Riyaz Kawa till July 21.
The judge deferred the case after Matoo, in a written application, sought time to file counter to the objections raised by CBI against his bail plea.
Matoo and Kawa do not have the services of the counsel to represent them at the court proceedings.
