Heat wave claims four more lives in UP

The temperature in the state capital remains at 41.2 degree Celsius, MET department officials said in Lucknow.

Four more people died of heat stroke in Uttar Pradesh, taking the toll in the current heat wave in the state to 14.



Two heat-related deaths were reported from Kushinagar and one each from Deoria and Jalaun districts.



The temperature in the state capital remained at 41.2 degree Celsius, MET department officials said in Lucknow.



The MET office has, however, predicted some respite from the scorching heat wave conditions and said there is a possibility of dust storm and thunderstorms later in the day.
