Heat wave claims three lives in Madhya Pradesh

Intense heat wave sweeping Madhya Pradesh has claimed three lives in the state since yesterday, police said today.

Intense heat wave sweeping Madhya Pradesh has claimed three lives in the state since Monday, police said Tuesday.

A 50-year-old man died due to severe heat in Sagar Monday evening, while another youth was found dead under a mango tree on NH 26, they said.

A trainee constable died following heat stroke at Police Training School in Gwalior Monday.

On Monday, Khajuraho was the hottest place in state with a day temperature of 46.7 degrees C and the capital sweltered at 44.3 degrees C.
