Floral prints: Flowers always work.. as long as you don’t overdo them. While some are comfortable flaunting a shirt or Tee in floral prints, those who like it subtle can stick to a floral tie or a shirt with a floral outline.
Sport coats: Best in Burberry checks and solids. The two-button coat is the new fashion staple. These days it’s known as the Obama suit, courtesy the U S President-elect who sports one most of the time.
Tip: Avoid velvet.
Denim: It could be denim backpacks, sling bags, or denim footwear. A dark blue denim bag is ideal to carry to work; faded shades are best reserved for outings. Make sure there are enough pockets and you are set for a trek with just this bag strapped on your shoulder. Levis and Pepe Jeans stock sturdy denim bags.
Windbreaker jackets: Choose the lightest one, so that you can roll it like a handkerchief and it will sink into the corner of your backpack. A smart windbreaker always impresses the girls.
Classic Harrington jacket: They have a high collar. Pair it with a Tee and you’ll combat the nippy weather. Also look for reversible Harrington jackets, maybe with checks in the inside and solids outside.
Stoles: You read right! A stole around the neck or dangling on the shoulder looks dapper. Try stoles with stripes or asymmetrical prints.
Leather: Irreplaceable. Leather wallets, leather watch straps and now leather accessories. Little leather rings, a locket dangling on to a leather chain, key holders, mobile holders, jackets with a leather outline.. it’s a guy thing.
Footwear: Mules.. a perfect combination of comfort and style. Fuse coloured lace with canvas or leather shoes.
