Hideouts busted, Pak national arrested in J&K

Security forces busted two militant hideouts and arrested a Pakistani national in Doda, Poonch and Jammu districts.

Security forces busted two terrorist hideouts and arrested a Pakistani national in Doda, Poonch and Jammu districts during last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

During search operations, security forces busted a militant hideout in a forest area in Kishtwar tehsil of Doda district yesterday and recovered one 12 boregun with 12 cartidges, two UBGL grenades, 39 AK rounds, four gelatin sticks, four detonators and five safety fuses from it.

Another hideout was busted in Surankote area of Poonch and recoveries from it yielded two chinese grenades, three AK magazines, 23 AK rounds, one bottle containing glucose and two pairs of combat army dress.

A Pakistani national, Mohammad Ali of Sialkote district in Pakistan, was arrested near the border in Arnia sector of Jammu district on Friday and handed over to police for further investigation, officials said.
