The Jammu-Pathankot national highway was blocked due to flash floods due to heavy rains in Kathua district stranding over 1,000 vehicles.

Heavy rains lashed Jammu region triggering flash floods in several canals and river Ujh in Hiranagar and Kathua belt of the district, officials said.

The Jammu-Pathankote national highway was blocked due to water-logging at Hiranagar and Jasrota villages this morning due to which over 1,000 vehicles have been stranded on it, they said.
