Himachal minister to resign after TV expose

Himachal Pradesh Transport Minister GS Bali late on Saturday was set to step down after a TV news channel's expose purportedly showed him in company of "call girls".
Private channel Star News late on Saturday showed Bali dancing and drinking with women on his birthday on Friday at a party in the resort town of Dharamsala. The channel says the women were call girls from New Delhi.

Bali, however, denied that the women were call girls. According to him, it was a family gathering, and the party featured his family members including his son, daughter and others.
"This news story only shows one side of the story," he said.
However, he told the channel: "I am going to resign later this night in public interest."
