HIMANSHU SABHARWAL, the son of  Ujjain’s professor Sabharwal who was killed during Madhav College students union election two months ago, on Thursday shared dais with the Congress leaders at Nasrullahganj in Budhni assembly constituency and appealed to voters to defeat the BJP. He recounted how his father was beaten to death.

He will also campaign for he party candidate in Vidisha. Himanshu, at one stage was tipped to be fielded by the party in the by-polls. 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed several election meetings today in Vidisha Parliamentary constituency. Addressing a meeting at Nasrullahganj he counted the government’s welfare schemes for the farmers and other sections of the society.

Those who accompanied the CM were Rajendra Singh Rajput, Guruprasad Sharma, Rakesh Surana, RK Yadav, Prabhu Rathore, Anusuiya Uike, Uma Khandelwal, Anil Jain and others.

The BJP affairs in charge for Bhojpur assembly constituency Dhruvnarayan Singh campaigned in several villages for the party nominee Rampal Singh.

Chouhan is scheduled to address several election meetings in Vidisha and Bala Malehra in the next two days.
The State BJP organising genral secretary Kaptan Singh Solanki held meeting with the party workers today at Ghuvara and Bakswah in Bada Malehra constituency.
