It's often been quoted that there are no permanent friends or foes in the film industry. And that has been proved correct once again, this time by Ram Gopal Varma and Himesh Reshammiya since they have agreed to work together.
When Reshammiya declined to score music for Ram Gopal Varma ke Sholay (now tentatively titled Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag), Varma was miffed with him.
However, seeing the good initial response to Reshammiya's Aap kaa Surroor, Varma is now thinking otherwise. And now, he's planning a musical thriller with the singer-composer-turnedactor.
A source informs, "Despite being currently busy with the post-production of Sholay and re-working the script for Sarkar II, Ramuji is planning to make a quickie with Himesh, who will play the main protagonist in it. Besides, of course, he'll score the film's music too,"
Reshammiya was non-committal, "Ramuji has always been a pillar of support to me and had always predicated that Aap Ka Surroor would be a huge success before its release. He complimented me saying he loved the intensity in my eyes."
When pursued, he maintained, "Ramuji called me to congratulate me on the success of my debut film. That's it."
Varma didn't respond to our queries.
