The Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who inspected the under-construction Kundli- Manesar- Palwal (KMP) Expressway on Saturday, pulled up the promoter company for the delay in completion of the project.

The CM directed the company to expedite the work. Hooda also asked the senior Haryana government officials to keep on inspecting the work from time to time and send the progress report to him.

DSC Limited, the construction company, said the delays occurred because of delay in approval of design for the Railway overbridges (ROBs), delay in land acquisition, addressing the villager's concerns about providing more structures and substantial upgradation in the design of structures leading to change in the scope of work.

Hooda inspected the expressway from a helicopter, which landed at Manesar from where he inspected the progress of the expressway by road.
