A young biker was dragged some 50 feet by a railway engine as he was busy listening to music on his mobile phone and could not hear the engine. He died on the spot.

“Shiv Yadav, 22, tried to zip through the closed level crossing and was hit by the railway engine, said city superintendent of police Lal Umed Singh. Passersby watched in horror as the engine ran over the young biker. All that was left after the crash was his mangled body and twisted remains of his motorcycle.

The youth failed to hear the approaching railway engine and the warnings by passersby. Eyewitnesses said the youth was cautioned against crossing the barrier, but ignored all warnings.
