Stay stylish | Nida Mahmood

I see people wearing hot pants a lot these days. Is it one of the silhouettes which are going to stay or is this just a fad?

Winters seem delayed yet another time. So I think you must surely grab the opportunity to flaunt some stylish hot pants while summers last. These are sure to stay. Spring summer’09 has a lot of skin show in terms of missing pants. A lot of hot pants have been spotted. <b1>

Aside from the pajama inspiration at Dolce & Gabbana, there seemed to be something else a little off, the fact that a number of models were missing their pants. We know everybody’s been saying Spring 09’s all about showing your body, but the lack of bottom garments really takes the cake. Especially in Milan, hot pants seemed to be most popular, winning over skirts / pants / dresses.

So go all out on hot pants— checkered, solid colors, printed. Try slouchy checkered ones. They are my personal favorite. Lots of fun and have a lot of attitude. Team them with a quirky T-shirt and a funky big bag. Throw in scrunched leather or swede uggs for the perfect day look.

You can even try printed hot pants in various kinds of prints like florals or geometric with striped T-shirts and a shocking contrast big bag and canvas shoes. This is a great look for the still so sunny day at college.

How about mixing prints and stripes? Go wild with prints on the top as well as the bottom. Team with high flat boots and a rucksack. Complete the look with lots of junky silver jewellery.
