All 14 accused in the Juhu molestation case were identified on Saturday at the identification parade held inside Arthur Road jail, said an official from the jail. The men were arrested on January 4.
The witnesses, including the HT photographers and policemen, were asked to identify the accused among 96 people who were presented to them in different rounds. The procedure lasted for about an hour. HT photographers Satish Bate and Prasad Gori identified five accused; the rest were identified by the police. “All 14 have been identified,” said an official, on condition of anonymity.
Joint Commissioner of Police (law and order) KL Prasad said their next task was to track down a man wearing a white shirt with red T-shirt inside who appears to be “grossly involved” in the attack. “No one will be spared,” he said. The victims, NRIs from California, have reportedly flown back to the US.
