HuJI terrorist killed at Doda in J&K

A terrorist belonging to the Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HuJI) outfit was killed in a gunbattle with the army in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Monday.

Acting on specific information, troops launched a cordon and search operation in Keshwan forest belt of Kishtwar tehsil in the district late on Sunday night, official sources said.

In the ensuing gunbattle, the HuJI terrorist was killed, they said adding one AK rifle, two magazines, four grenades and a wireless set were recovered from the slain terrorist.

The terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Amin Rather of Chatroo village in the district.
