RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today predicted that the NDA would face a rout and he would become the next chief minister.
"As for our information, the voting trend in 182 assembly seats where elections have already been held is against the NDA which will face a complete rout," Prasad told an election rally in Jehanabad.
"I tell you that I am going to become chief minister this month to serve you better", he said, adding he would weave the same magic he did while being the railway minister.
Criticising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he alleged that Kumar's government was a failure on all fronts as he "cheated all those who had voted for him in 2005."
"The swearing-in of Nitish Kumar government was a sweet experience, but later it turned out to be a bitter pill," he said.
