On Thursday, Ankaj Kushal, 33, heaved a sigh of relief after receiving a call from the Kapashera Police Station that a gang of four criminals had been arrested and he had to come and identify them.
The four accused had allegedly abducted, thrashed and robbed Kushal, a Sector 23 resident and export house executive, of his belongings and Ford Icon car before dumping him in the Najafgarh drain on Saturday.
“I hope the police can use the CCTV footage from the ATM booth in Dwarka where they had used my ATM card. I was satisfied today when I got a call from the investigating officer in the morning. “
“The officer told me that the robbers had sold off my Ford Icon car to someone in Hisar in Haryana,” Ankaj said.
