i-flex Q4 net up 63 per cent

i-flex Solutions posted an increase of 62.70 per cent in net profit at Rs 121.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

i-flex Solutions Ltd on Saturday posted an increase of 62.70 per cent in net profit at Rs 121.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 74.80 crore for the same quarter last year.

The revenues of the company increased 37.43 per cent to Rs 372.30 crore for the fourth quarter of 2005-06 from Rs 270.90 crore in the year ago period.

For the year ended March 31, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 240.70 crore as compared to Rs 197.70 crore a year ago and revenue increased to Rs 1153.80 crore for 2005-06 from Rs 902.90 crore in 2004-05, i-flex informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs 5 on equity share of Rs 5 each (100 per cent) subject to shareholders approval.

The group has posted a net income after prior period items of Rs 140.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to Rs 103.82 crore for the same quarter last year and revenues increased to Rs 470.50 crore for the fourth quarter 2005-06 from Rs 358.60 crore in 2004-05.

For the year ended March 31, the group posted net income after prior period items of Rs 237.60 crore, as compared to Rs 232.40 crore a year ago and revenues increased to Rs 1482.30 crore 2005-06 from Rs 1138.60 crore in 2004-05.

"Last year has been a momentous one for i-flex as we have seen a significant increase in our traction with top tier customers," i-flex Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Hukku said.
