RAMESH Sikarwar, once a terror in Chambal valley, claimed that he would capture dacoit Dayaram Rambabu Gadaria dead or alive within one month if the Government provides him adequate help.

Talking to press persons, Sikarvar, who had abducted 16 passengers from Nonpura village in Sheopur district 23 years ago and later surrendered, said the police sought his help to nab Dayaram Rambabu Gadaria.

Sikarwar stated after the recent abduction of eight passengers by Gadaria gang, he had spent two days in the forest in search of dacoits on police request. But it could not succeed for lack of money and other resources, Sikarwar said.

According to him, the dacoits of Gadaria gang were still in State borders. The dacoit of yore said that if the Government provided him adequate resources and ten employees he would be able to capture Dayaram Rambabu Gadaria dead or alive within one month.

Sikarwar said the police failed to know the whereabouts of the gang due to its weak information network. Gadaria helps poor people in the village which is why people are not willing to divulge any information about him to the police, Sikarwar added.
