'I'm happy being watched'

Highlight Story

Love thy self. This seems to be the tacit trait of glam magnets. Perhaps, many of us are not even aware that some of the hottest stars love to admire themselves more than anybody else!

Topping the list is lip-locker Emraan Hashmi. Watching himself for hours in the mirror is his fave job other than acting (read kissing)! "I have no problem in confessing that I love myself to the core. To be precise, I am self-obsessed! I stare at the mirror quite often to see how I am looking.

I am very particular about my appeal. If I find something wrong, may be my hairstyle or something else, I take no time to rectify it. I don't know but for many it may be my bad trait but I am what I am," says Emraan.

No wonder why Emraan is offered kissing roles on-screen. Also, glam doll Priyanka Chopra seems to be self-obsessed. She says, "Call it whatever you want but I have never hid my favourite pastime of watching people and being watched by them. It feels nice when you realize that people love to watch you when you go out. It enhances confidence and makes you aware about your qualities. Unless you love yourself, you won't be able to spend time on your grooming. I am happy being watched and appreciated by people."

So next time Priyanka comes out of her house, don't forget to stare at her in case you are nearby.

However, Dia Mirza has something else to say. "I have a little different take on it. I believe that when we are out, we are stared and watched so much that one starts getting obsessed about oneself. So don't blame us for being self-obsessed!" she quips.
