The most powerful actor in Hollywood is looking at conquering new territory. Will Smith said this weekend that he wants to star in a Bollywood film.

The Hancock actor said: “I’ve made a couple of speculative deals in India. We’ve got some Bolly-Will movies going on!” The

Bad Boys

star, whose movies deliver a first-weekend gross of $30 million, is fascinated with Bollywood. He has repeatedly asked Aishwarya Rai to do a movie with him and offered her a role in

Hitch

in 2005.

“I really wanted to work with her... She has this powerful energy where she doesn’t have to say anything, do anything, she can just stand there. Anything she’s making, I’ll be there.”

On his visit to Mumbai in 2006, the Hollywood star met several top actors and directors. “I really feel there is a marriage to be made between Hollywood and Bollywood,” he said. He partied with Shah Rukh Khan and a clutch of A-list stars that included Preity Zinta, Karan Johar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Farhan Akhtar and Farah Khan.

He even squeezed in time to party hop to Salman Khan’s place, thus managing to meet with two of Bollywood’s most powerful actors. He’s alleged to have had serious talks with SRK and Karan Johar and expressed a desire to work with them in the future.

The Hollywood star, impressed with Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in

Sarkar

, has even chosen a Bollywood title for himself. “I have decided that from today onwards, I will be known as Big W,” he said.

With increasing ties between Hollywood and Bollywood, get ready to see the Big W in a Bollywood song and dance flick soon.
