A helicopter of the Indian Air Force landed under emergency conditions on the fields at a village in the district on Sunday after it developed a technical problem.
Both the pilot and the co-pilot are safe, officials said.
They said the chopper from Sirsa-based IAF Station had developed some technical fault in its engine following which it had to land at village Chindar.
Officials said that the pilot decided to land on the fields after he noticed that smoke was emanating from the chopper's engine.
IAF officials have rushed to the spot.
