Stray animals were seen having a free run at the Bathinda civil hospital on Monday. A cattle was roaming freely in the premises of the hospital.
And while stray animals roam freely, there are not even enough stretchers for the patients, such as this accident victim below.
The injured man had to be taken on foot by his relative to the emergency ward .
When contacted, chief medical officer Tejwant Singh Randhawa assured of some action and said, “ The health department is making all the efforts to tackle the stray cattle menace and there is no shortage of government attendants and equipments in the hospital.”
