Days after actor-turned-politician Tapas Pal's speech threatening to send his men to rape supporters of the CPI(M) raised a storm across the country, another video has emerged in which the Trinamool Congress legislator is seen threatening to publicly behead rivals and shoot dead an absconding murder accused.
"Go, chop off the limbs of a CPI(M) man and show me. Let me see who has the guts to arrest any of you! I will not take it easily if anyone dares support the CPI(M) here. I'll publicly behead him with an axe, right here," Pal told a gathering of local Trinamool leaders and supporters at Gopinathpur village within Tehatta police station limits in Nadia district.
Within seconds, Pal is seen speaking on a higher pitch.
"And I'll surely catch the one absconding. I'll first try to get him a life term of hanged. Or else, I, myself… I'll shoot him dead if I can. Tell me if you people can identify him. I'll myself go to his house and shoot him dead. Just see whether Tapas Pal has the guts to do it!"
