Kinnaur and Lahual Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh are worst affected by continous snowfall spell of snow, as most of road leading and inside the district again became snow-bound affecting power supply.
Met office report said that Kalpa in Kinnuar had 12 cm snowfall recorded till 8.30 am today followed by Rekong-Peo 10 cm while fresh report arrived here said that 30 and 45 cm snowfall had been experienced in the both town.
Koksar of Lahaul Spiti reported 45 cm snowfall and Keylong in Lahaul valley and Kaza in Spiti had 6 cm each snow. Udaipur 10 cm.
Shimla and its surrounding areas were lashed with rainfall as town recorded 9 mm rain along with traces of snow. Tourists resort Kufri 12 cm snowfall, Narkanda 20 cm and Kharapather 40 cm. Rohru had 9 cm snowfall in the district while it was lashed with 30 mm rain also.
Tourists resort Manali were having snowflakes and rain as it got 27 mm rainfall but high reaches like Solang Nalahahad 15 cm snowfall and Panchhang got more than one feet snowfall.
Report arriving from Chamba said that 70 cm snowfall was experienced on Sachpass linking Killard, headquarters of Pangi valley while rest of district having insistent rainfall.
