India will host either the Twenty20 Cup or the Champions Trophy in 2013 as per the list of venues approved by the ICC for its schedule until 2015 at the organisation's annual conference in London.
India, which will host this year's Champions Trophy in September, will have to choose between hosting either of the two events in 2013 in the schedule announced till 2015, a statement issued by the ICC said.
In addition to this, the country will jointly host the 2011 World Cup with Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh after the quartet beat the combined bid put by Australia and New Zealand earlier this year.
The Aussies-Kiwi bid won the rights to host the World Cup in 2015.
The Board of Directors approved the hosts in accordance with the ICC Memorandum and Articles.
