Manish, the fastest man at the 51st National Open Athletics Meet, has failed the drug test.
The 19-year-old Haryana sprinter is among the three who tested positive during the Kolkata event, held from September 10-13, for banned drugs.
Manish had clocked 10.6 seconds on his way to the 100m title. Railways' Vanita Sahani and Alka Rani of Delhi, silver medallists in the women's 100m and 400m respectively, are the other offenders. All three face provisional suspension, pending a hearing.
The Open Nationals, which was the last event on the domestic calendar to achieve qualification marks for London 2012, saw the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) collect 93 urine samples.
According to the NADA release, the banned substances found in the samples were methandienone, stanozolol, mythltesterone, phentermine and methylhexaneamine.
The episode comes on the heels of the doping scandal, which erupted in May and June and involved top athletes, including the women's 4x400m relay team.
